Sally Pribyl is a second grade teacher in the Burnsville Eagan Savage school district 191. She teaches at Marion W. Savage Elementary in Savage, MN.

Al Pribyl is a Sales/Estimator for Giertsen Company, a fire and water restoration company based in the Twin Cities.

Al and Sally have been sailing on Lake Superior for 20 years aboard several different boats. In 1986 they purchased Shenanigans, a 1977 Tartan 30, hull #505. After several years of boating on Shenanigans their family out grew the 30 footer and in 1994 they purchased a 1981 Tartan 37, hull #333, named Kolibri. Between the two boats the family logged thousands of miles, sailing in the Apostle Islands every weekend from May to October, and on yearly vacations to Isle Royale, the Canadian North Shore, or the Slate Islands.
