Sally Pribyl is on a five year leave of absense from Minnesota's School District 191 Burnsville Eagan Savage. She taught at Sioux Trail Elementary, Sky Oaks Elementary and Marion W. Savage Elementary.

Al Pribyl was a Sales/Estimator for Giertsen Company, a fire and water restoration company based in the Twin Cities.

Al and Sally began sailing in 1983 on Lake Pepin in Pepin, WI and Lake City, Mn on their Cal 25 Sal-Lyn. In 1986 they bought "Shenanigans" a 1977 Tartan 30 hull #505 and started sailing on Lake Superior. They own slip #193 at Port Superior Marina in Bayfield Wisconsin. In 1994 they purchased "Kolibri" a 1981 Tartan 37 hull #333. Finally in 2001 they bought "Artemis" a Mason 43 Ketch hull #81. They had great fun sailing with their three sons Justin, Patrick, and Christopher in the Apostle Islands, Bayfield Wisconsin, their weekend sailing grounds for 20 years. Isle Royale and the Canadian Northshore to the Slate Islands and the White River was their annual vacation destinations. Currently Al and Sally live aboard Artemis in the Mediterranean.
